TACF MEMBERSHIP

The American Chestnut Foundation depends primarily upon its members to support research to develop a blight-resistant American chestnut tree. Over 6,000 members are helping to bring this important tree back from the brink of extinction. With your $40 membership, PA-TACF receives $15 towards the local breeding programs.

  • The Bark, our quarterly Newsletter
  • The Journal of The American Chestnut Foundation, our semi-annual scientific and cultural magazine
  • Membership in our state chapter, PA-TACF: Receive the Chestnut Tree Newsletter and invitations to spring and fall member meetings, be invited to our state volunteer activities, have access to our PA/NJ member e-mail listserv

The American Chestnut Foundation (TACF) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization funded primarily by over 7,800 American and International members. Our goal is to restore the American chestnut tree to its native forests through a scientific research and breeding program developed by TACF's founders.
